Moyra Knight is Vice President of Commercial Communications at Astellas with accountability for on-market products across all regions worldwide. She is responsible for developing and leading communications strategies and reputation management to achieve Astellas' strategic business goals. She oversees executive communications, employee engagement, digital communication, issues management, product communications and media relations.  Knight is a member of the Astellas Commercial Strategy organization, which has responsibility for the company’s more than $11 billion in sales annually.
Knight was named to the board of directors of the Juvenile Protective Association and nominated to the board of trustees of the Institute of Public Relations in 2018. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, and a graduate of the Arthur Page Future Leaders and named member of PageUp in 2019.  In 2016, she received the Astellas Summit Club award recognizing the company’s top five percent performers.  
Knight has more than 25 years of communications experience in both the health care and consumer industries including Baxter International Inc., Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and Kraft Foods, Inc. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Journalism. Knight is married with two children and lives in Glenview, Illinois.
